NEXS Co., Ltd. (the “Operator”) sets out the following policy on how user information is handled in “Soheki: The Azure Grotto” (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account user ID, display name, and email address (managed by Google and Firebase Authentication). The Service’s database stores your user ID, display name, and email address.
- If you register with an email address: your email address and password (managed by Firebase Authentication; the Operator does not hold your password). The Service’s database stores your user ID and email address.
- If you play without signing in: a user ID from Firebase Authentication’s anonymous sign-in. If your device data is lost before you link your account, your records cannot be restored.
- Play records: progress in explorations and puzzles, fragments, weaves, the arrangement of the Spring, settings, and a log of actions (including dates and times).
- Purchase information: items purchased, amounts, dates and times, the environment used for the purchase (browser or app), and subscription status. An email address must be registered to make a purchase, and we also provide your email address to Stripe, our payment processor, to send receipts and respond to inquiries. To verify purchasers, you will also be asked to enter your full legal name and billing address on the payment screen. Your name, address, and credit card and other payment details are managed by Stripe; the Operator views them in the Stripe dashboard only as needed to verify purchasers, prevent fraud, respond to inquiries, and comply with the law (they are not stored in the Service’s database).
- Access information: IP address, browser type, date and time of access, and similar data (recorded in our hosting provider’s logs).
- Usage data: screen views, interaction events, and identifiers such as cookies (Google Analytics). This data is not sent if you turn off “Help by sharing usage data” on the Settings screen.
- Ads: the number of impressions and clicks for our own ads shown on the free plan. We only count totals per ad, without linking them to users.
2. Purposes of use
- Providing the Service, and saving and restoring play records
- Investigating problems and making the Service easier to play
- Analyzing usage and measuring the effectiveness of ads
- Responding to inquiries and sending important notices
- Processing purchases, verifying purchasers, preventing fraud, sending receipts, and responding to purchase-related inquiries
3. Sending user information to external parties
The Service sends user information to the services of the following companies.

4. Provision to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your play records from the Service’s database via “Delete account” on the Settings screen. This also deletes your sign-in information (your Firebase account) and cancels any subscription. Deleted records cannot be restored. Payment records are retained as required by law, but they will no longer be linked to the deleted account.
6. Use by minors
If you are a minor, please obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
7. Revisions
This Policy will be revised as necessary. Important changes will be announced within the Service.
